Baseboard Cleaning Hack
Use dryer sheets to remove hair & dirt from your baseboards. The dryer sheets will also give your room a great smell.
Removing Nail Polish From Carpet
You can easily get nail polish spills out of your carpet. Just dab a small amount of rubbing alcohol on the spot. Then take a cloth to blot the stain out. Be sure to blot it & not rub it deeper in.
Streak Free Glass Cleaning
It’s so easy to get that perfect streak free mirror or glass.
Before you start, ball up a few pieces of newspaper. You’ll use this to clean the glass instead of paper towels.
Spray your cleaner on the surface & use the newspaper to wipe it clean.
Using Coffee Filters
Use coffee filters to clean dust & dirt off of tablets, computers, & TVs.
Removing Baking Stains
Ball up a wad of aluminum foil. Then use that to scrub out those stubborn food messes in baking dishes.
Using Vinegar To Clean
Vinegar is pretty much a wonder product.
You can clean just about anything with it.

Removing Food Coloring
Food coloring is one of the best products to work with yet it can also be extremely annoying.
Mainly because it stains everything.
Enter shaving cream.
If you have food coloring on a counter simply spray the shaving cream on it, rub it around the stain & wipe it off with a damp cloth.
Pow, stain gone!
You can also use shaving cream to remove food coloring from your hands.
Dusting Ceiling Fans
Did you know that you can use a pillowcase to clean your ceiling fans?
Open the pillow case & put one side on top. Pull from the inner part of the fan outward.
The dust will fall into the pillowcase instead of the floor.
Here’s a simple trick to make your house smell yummy.
Place a few tablespoons of vanilla extract in a oven safe container & bake at 300°.
It will leave your house smelling like fresh baked cookies.

Unclogging A Toilet Without A Plunger
Don’t have a plunger? Or do you just hate using a plunger like I do?
No worries, you can unclog a toilet using dish soap & warm water.
Squirt 1/4-1/2 cup of dish soap into the toilet & let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
Then pour warm water into the toilet bowl.
**Make sure that the water is warm & not hot so that you don’t crack the porcelain.
Cleaning your blinds just got easier. You can just use a sock on your hand to clean blinds.
Use a lint brush to clean dust off of lamp shades.
Get rid of hard water stains on faucets by using sliced lemons.
Rub the sliced lemon on the hard water stains.
Wipe away residue with a damp cloth.
Keep a stick of white chalk in your laundry room.
If you have any grease stains on your clothing, rub the chalk over the stain.
Wash it as normal & the stain will be gone.
Cleaning Stainless Steel
Remove smudges from stainless steel appliances using olive oil or baby oil.
Use a soft cloth or even a cotton ball & rub the oil onto the smudge.
Use a damp cloth to wipe away any excess.
Remove Stains With An Iron
Lightly spray a carpet stain with hydrogen peroxide.
Cover it with a white damp cloth.
Using a iron, on the lowest setting, iron the towel for about 10 seconds.
Check the stain, you should see it starting to transfer to the towel.
Repeat the process until the stain is gone.
*Be sure not to let the iron come in direct contact with the carpet.
Cleaning The Microwave
Fill a small bowl with white distilled vinegar.
Microwave it for 5 minutes then wipe away the mess.
Get Rid Of Carpet Smells
Sprinkle baking soda on your carpet & let it sit for 5 minutes.
The baking soda will get rid of any odors your carpet may be holding.
Removing Odors From The Fridge
Ever have those weird smells in your fridge that just wont go away?
Get rid of them with coffee grounds or oats.
Fill a small bowl with either one & place it on a shelf in the fridge.
Those odors will disappear.
Getting Rid Of Vacuum Odors
If you notice that your vacuum is starting to smell weird the solution is simple.
Vacuum up 1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon.
The cinnamon will remove the odor & leave your rooms smelling yummy.
The Right Way To Use A Vacuum
Most of us have probably been vacuuming wrong our whole lives.
Typically most people vacuum by slowing moving the vacuum forward & then pulling back fast.
You actually get a better clean by reversing the order.
The forward motion of the vacuum pushes the dirt, slowing pulling it back towards you will suck up a majority of the dirt.
